Day 5 of the 2025 Tribeca Festival continued to celebrate the best in cinema and entertainment, with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars showing their support for a dynamic slate of premieres and conversations.
At Spring Studios, the official Hub of all things Tribeca, the Festival’s Storytelling Summit brought powerhouse voices David Leitch and Kelly McCormick together for an in-depth conversation about the use of creative stunt design as a storytelling tool, as well as a chart about their upcoming sequel, Nobody 2.
Lucy Liu captivated the audience with a wide-ranging discussion covering her life and work. The actress is at the festival with her new film, Rosemead, a film she stars in and produces. The film tells the story of a Chinese American mother trying to protect her son from a world of violence.
At The Indeed Theater, Mark Ruffalo and Lili Reinhart were on hand to present the New York premiere of TV series Hal & Harper, about two siblings trying to keep their childhood alive as their overbearing father forces them to grow up too fast.
Podcast sensation Alex Cooper brought the Daddy Gang to the OKX Theater at BMCC for the world premiere of her deeply personal docuseries, Call Her Alex. In a reflective moment during the post-screening conversation, Cooper told the packed crowd “I promised myself I would take this in today. This is it, this is the dream: I’m at the Tribeca Film Festival.”
Later, at the same theater, Paris Jackson, RZA, Shameik Moore, and Blair Underwood hit the carpet for the world premiere of One Spoon of Chocolate. In his fourth feature film as director, RZA unleashes a bloody and brutal collage of clever homages with a socially relevant (and quite stunning) thematic undercurrent.
Over at the SVA Theatre, Josh Gad and Alexandra Daddario took the spotlight for the world premiere of A Tree Fell in the Woods, a comedy/drama where a fallen tree changes the course of a group of people’s lives and relationships.
Nick Offerman and Jacob Tremblay were present for the world premiere of the dramatic thriller Sovereign, a tale of father and son anti-government extremists.
At AMC 19th St. East 6, celebrated conductor Gustavo Dudamel arrived for the world premiere of the Queer Spanish drama All We Cannot See, with Bradley Cooper in attendance to show his support.
Noah Centineo stopped by Village East by Angelika to celebrate the world premiere of Our Hero, Balthazar, an askew comedy/drama/thriller about young men in America. Centenio is an executive producer.
